The Houston Entrepreneurs' Forum was organized in 1985 to promote entrepreneurship among its members as well as the general public. It meets for breakfast the last Friday of each month. It provides an excellent opportunity to listen to a successful entrepreneur share their experiences and to network with individuals interested in entrepreneurship. The Houston Entrepreneur's Forum is pleased to
announce that Ed Jacobson Founder/President of the
ENTRUST Family of companies will be speaking at our
Friday May 29th meeting. ENTRUST develops, fully
administers and manages solutions to address today's
increasing Healthcare Benefit costs. They offer
employers ,the insurance industry
concepts,designs,cost containment alternatives etc
to address the crisis in healthcare. Entrust has
several offices in Texas and employs approximately
80 employees. Ed started his career after college
and after completing a large consulting job when his
company was sold started his own consulting business
called IMA (Insurance Management Ass.) and developed
a concept called "Medical Money Management".In 1983
He developed a business plan,wrote a private
placement and raised 2.5 million dollars to start up
a medical credit card company called "Medicredit
Inc". which was later acquired by General Electric
Corp. |

The Houston Entrepreneurs' Forum holds a Breakfast Meeting the last Friday of every month. Meetings are from 7:00 - 8:15 AM at The Briar Club at 2603 Timmons Lane. The meetings are designed to foster entrepreneurship amongst its membership and guests along with opportunities for networking. The guest speaker is always a local entrepreneur who will share their experiences with the group. Networking begins at 7:00 AM and continues until 7:30 when breakfast is served. The guest speaker will address the group from 7:45 - 8:10 and will answer questions from the audience. Time: 7:00 AM
