The Houston Entrepreneurs Forum is pleased to announce that Tracy Stephens of The Procurement Centre will be speak on Friday November 19th at the Briar Club. Tracy, along with Paul Hicks, founded the company in 1996 when they noticed the trend to outsource all departments in a company that were not central to the core business. Both of them had previous experience owning companies that sold to large corporations and took notice of their purchasing practices and where the inefficiencies lay. Within 6 months they were turning a profit and have grown from $500,000 in revenues with 8 employees to $5,000,000 in revenues and 50 employees.
